Hi Stampers! A few years ago I started off with a blogspot that was about my life and everything I had gone through. Since I stopped writing in a journal, I decided to change everything around a bit. I didn't have a lot of entries, so I started to blog about my craft projects. This blog is where I will upload all of my art, projects and photographs.

A few years ago, I started scrapbooking with my sister. What started off from a $1.00 stamp has grown into an obsession! I absolutely love history, so anything to commemorate it is fine by me! Thanks for stopping by!

Lack of Communication

Today, one of my co-workers lays a black folder on my desk. No word of what is it. No sticky note to identify what it is or whom it was from. I open the folder and read through the documents. "This doesn't look familiar," I think to myself. "Who laid this here?"

Ten minutes later, I get an email. "Have you seen the documents for X Company?" My reply, "You mean the mysterious black folder that was laid on my desk with no sticky note or author? Why, yes, I have. What should I do with it?"

Has this ever happened to you? If so, what did you do? I love this place, but cheese and crackers they lack any communication at all! What's the point of having a procedures manual if no one follows it.

And another thing...

We have a person that enters the time for us, so that when someone does take a day off, we are suppose to know this information so that if we answer the phones, we know to tell the caller whether they are out all day or if they are just running late. This information is usually (I repeat usually) put onto a calendar so that we (the office assistants) will know. But that never happens. If someone leaves early, it is usually the bathroom talk (or grapevine) that we hear of someone leaving.

In spite of all of this, have any of you ever sent a memo or email around to the office regarding the lack of communication? What did you say? Who did you send it too? It really bites my goat that some people are so inconsiderate of others.

End of Rant. Comments please. Thanks!
