Hi Stampers! A few years ago I started off with a blogspot that was about my life and everything I had gone through. Since I stopped writing in a journal, I decided to change everything around a bit. I didn't have a lot of entries, so I started to blog about my craft projects. This blog is where I will upload all of my art, projects and photographs.

A few years ago, I started scrapbooking with my sister. What started off from a $1.00 stamp has grown into an obsession! I absolutely love history, so anything to commemorate it is fine by me! Thanks for stopping by!

I'm so excited!

I can't hide it anymore! For the past few months, I've been thinking and trying to clean up my old office downstairs to make room for a brand new craft room! We finally got everything painted and dried. I need to find a good desk and work station, so if you know of any around here, PLEASE let me know! I'll put up more pictures once I get all my stuff in there.

Congrats Grad!

I made this very quick card for our neighbor who is graduating from high school! I used a $1.00 acrylic stamp set from Joann's and a white gel pen for the stitching.

Cardmaking Party

In April 21, 2010, my friend Cheyanne and I hosted a cardmaking party for Operation Write Home. The party got moved to a different location, but we had a good turn-out and I had lots of fun! My initial goal was to create 100 handmade cards to send to our Troops. We came very close and made 80! I will continue to make the additional 20 cards and will ship them off soon. In lieu of our party, Cheyanne handed out the new Close to my Heart Summer Idea Book. I want to personally Thank everyone who attended and made cards for our Troops!

Baby Shower

Here are a few pictures of the baby shower. I just hit the highlights because we had a ton of photos.

This was a sticker set that was used in the nursery.
The gifts that Mom, Dad, and I bought for Cathy/Addyson.
The centerpiece that I made with the help of my friend Sandy and her Pazzles.
The party favors that I made for all attendees. The label says, "Thank you for coming
and for the wonderful and adorable gifts. ~Kevin, Cathy, Adam and Addyson"
The shower of gifts from everyone!
The balloons says "It's a Girl" and the cake is Jungle themed.
The Jungle Cake (Thanks, Jeri)
The Memory Box I made for Cathy and Addyson.
A trunk full of goodies!

Thanks to everyone who attended and for everyone who sent gifts! We appreciate the warmth of family and friends!

I'm Still Here!

Hey Stampers! It's been a while since I've posted anything, but I'm still here. On April 10, I hosted my sister's baby shower, so the weeks prior to that I was busy with buying and wrapping gifts, creating a centerpiece, creating a memory box, ordering a cake and other stuff. Shortly after that, I started working on the OWH party for April 21. That went very well and I'll post pictures as soon as I can. In the meantime, I hope everyone is having a great year!

This Tuesday is a big day for the Dunlap/Carter Family. We will welcome Addyson Faith Carter to the family and we can't wait! We'll see you soon, Addyson!
